We understand that transition looks different for everyone. Some of the women we serve may be:
Escaping domestic violence or unsafe living situations
Recovering from the challenges of divorce or separation
Rebuilding after financial hardship or homelessness
Seeking stability for their children and a fresh start
Freedom Foundation 531 is not an emergency shelter, but a place where mothers can receive temporary stable housing.
To help every family achieve long-term stability, participants commit to attending core classes that build life skills and confidence:
💰 Financial Foundations – budgeting, saving, and credit building
👩👧 Parenting Support – practical tools for healthy family dynamics
💬 Healthy Relationships – establishing boundaries, trust, and self-worth
Each woman’s journey is supported through mentoring, counseling, and community resources — designed not to enable, but to empower.
Freedom Foundation 531 believes in providing a hand up, not a handout.
Our goal is to walk beside mothers who are ready to invest in their future, offering safety, education, and encouragement every step of the way.
Through stability, structure, and community, we help families move from survival to self-sufficiency — and ultimately, freedom.
Because we are not an emergency shelter, all applicants must go through a brief interview and intake process to ensure our program is the right fit.

Freedom Foundation 531 is designed for women who are ready to rebuild — not for emergency crisis placement, but for those seeking long-term, stable change.
